As a Payroll Assistant II at New York University, I perform payroll processing and reporting for over 1,000 student employees across multiple states and tax jurisdictions. I ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and resolve any payroll issues or discrepancies. I also collaborate with the Human Resources and Finance departments to provide accurate and timely payroll data and analysis.I am passionate about data and its potential to improve decision-making, performance, and outcomes. I have a Master's degree in Data Science and Business Analytics from New Jersey City University, and I am currently pursuing a Certificate in Data Analytics from New York University. I have completed multiple courses and certifications in Python programming, data cleaning and analysis, and storytelling through data visualization. I have applied my data skills to various projects, such as analyzing customer behavior, optimizing business processes, and creating dashboards and reports. I am always eager to learn new tools and techniques to enhance my data proficiency and creativity.
