Hey everyone! My name is Shawn D. Rajkumar and I have a strong passion for creating communities and building those around me to cultivate a culture of excellence. I truly believe, the best way to leave your mark on this word by being a person of strong character that can inspire and teach those that come after you to strive greatness and to always give back.I have embodied these truths through my time at the Queens College Student Association, where I have mentored and taught hundreds of students over the years, before branching from Queens College through my own business, Students for Tomorrow, where I help those beyond the CUNY system.I have also been running my own Media Consulting business, where I have helped grow and manage a network of over 2-Million followers across Instagram and Youtube, since my time during high school to take advantage of the limitless opportunities in the digital age.Here is an abridge list of my achievements thus far:• Volunteered 1,000+ hours guiding 700+ students to educational, financial, and social resources to solve individual issues• Advocated to reallocate $1.2M+ in annual student activity fee funding from under used services, to better fund student club, athletic, and create employment opportunities by garnering 1,500+ votes•Reviewed Resumes, hosted Mock Interview Prep, and helped land various business, healthcare, and engineering opportunities to 500+ students • Forge strong relations with multiple large organizations such as ALPFA, NABA, ISACA, NSBE, and SEO to promote their programs and services, to foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.• Collaborate with fellow student leaders to host large campus events with average attendance of 150-200 students, to bring back engagement and life to the campus in a post COVID-19 world.
