Implemented a centralized lending underwriting process in order to streamline the lending process and have greater control over risk management. Developed policies and procedures to reflect those changes. I have Senior Plus loan officer authority, shared only with the CEO and EVP. I make the majority of consumer lending decisions companywide based on a thorough credit bureau and application analysis. I monitor other’s lending decisions and train and develop employee’s lending decision skills and educate on regulatory procedure. I review all loan corrections and out of the ordinary loan calculations. I create and monitor numerous reports for total oversight of the centralized lending process. I helped implement and grow the indirect loan portfolio from startup. I am responsible to maintain dealer relations. I have been a voting officer on the member business loan committee since 2009 with agricultural and commercial lending authority. I also serve as a first mortgage underwriter.

Work to bring in new business and strengthen relationships with current business partners and Select Employee Groups. I oversee Branch Manager’s actions in relation to business development and assist when possible. Creatively finding solutions for business’s needs that the Credit Union can solve. Responsible for maintaining a number of Credit Union data. I also travel to fill in for vacancies at the Branch Manager position. I attend court as a representative of Heartland Credit Union dealing with collection matters and follow through with the collection process. During this period I also trained all new employees and existing employees that moved to a higher position on job duties and procedures, ranging from tellers to management personnel.

Responsible for the everyday operations of the Prairie du Chien Branch of a 150 million dollar asset Credit Union. Overseeing five employees in normal operations. I dealt with public relations, staff issues, inter office communications and team building, customer service, lending (Senior Loan Officer), business development, training, scheduling, monitoring performance objectives and reviews, sales coaching, I was in charge of an $800,000 budget. I developed the branch from start up to being profitable within 3 years.

Duties involved overseeing the day to day operations of the business. I Worked closely with clients, Surveyor, and public and private entities. I calculated and drew various documents from the surveyor’s notes and findings using a CAD system and coordinate geometry software. I calculated land areas and transit shots using geometry and trigonometry. I also maintained all financial aspects of the company including, receivables, payables, payroll, and taxes. I was also responsible for leading field crews on specific jobs.

New and used car sales. I also helped to effect the daily operations of the business, helping to solve customer problems and to efficiently maintain the business operations.
