Slavin Advisors assists resellers of accounting software to deliver world-class service to their customers. With over 30 years of experience in both public and private accounting, we have implemented new ERP systems for hundreds of companies. We have experience with multiple ERP systems and focus on enabling change within a company's operations to adopt new technologies. This includes building new processes that free organizations to maximize the return on their ERP investments, creating reporting and data analysis systems that enable new insights, and evaluating existing business philosophies to ensure focus is on delivering customer value.

As president of the ITA, I work with our members, our board of directors, and our staff, to manage the day-to-day operations of the organization. My goal is to enable our members to grow professionally, build new knowledge, and develop deep, long-lasting relationships with their peers. Our membership is made up of leading consulting and reselling firms of accounting software, internal technology leaders from many of the largest CPA firms in North America, publishers of leading accounting software products, and consultants to the CPA technology and accounting technology consulting industries.We hold three conferences a year called Collaboratives. Here, members stay on top of leading technology trends, share industry knowledge, and create best practices in their respective communities.

I recently completed my 4 year tenure on the Board of Directors of the ITA. The experience working with my fellow board members will always be one of the highlights of my career. The caliber of professionals I mingled with from my peers, from vendor organizations, and true giants in the CPA industry is absolutely astounding. Ronin Growth Services, LLC was a business consulting firm providing business consulting services to fast growth companies primarily in the high tech and software development industries. The vision of Ronin Growth Serivces was to assist early-stage companies in their development and growth by providing financial and IT services often lacking in the organizationsService offerings included selecting and implementing accounting and back office automation systems, development of custom niche applications to support operations, contract CFO services to assist with negotiations and access to growth capital funding sources.Ronin Growth Services was founded by Ken Bresnen of Austin, Texas and included 3 shareholders; Ken Bresnen, Micheal Stewart and Shawn P. Convergent Communications was a telecommunications reseller and an affinity marketing company. The company resold land-line and credit card long distances services. All communication services were provided by AT&T and Sprint while all customer service and billing was performed at CCI.At its peak, CCI supported over 25,000 customers and provided financial support to over 25 university alumni organizations.

During my tenure with Baird, Kurtz and Dobsen, I moved from write-up accountant to staff accountant to in-charge and finally senior accountant.While I worked in several areas of public accounting including tax preparation, auditing and special projects work, I focused the majority of my time in auditing and consulting for hospitals and home health agencies. I spent a great deal of time in medicare reimbursement consulting including cost report preparation.In addition to client service responsibilities, I also lead internal support on technology issues by addressing software and connectivity issues with the office's personal computers.
