Contributing in eCOA and clinical trials truly allowed me to see the impact of such data collection. Through the couple years I have been at CRF Health, I have witnessed a key client release their FDA approved cancer drug. Prior to this, I have helped gather data and published an article about the impact of fluspirilene as a p53-MDM2 inhibitor, using computational algorithms. Furthermore, I have researched and computer generated several drug combinations as potential p53-MDM2 inhibitors. This is a key factor in my introduction to oncology and clinical trials and applying my computer science degree towards this research. I believe that team work can provide infinite amount of possibilities. Not everyone has the same approach to a solution and that different paths can end up to the same outcome. As an enthusiast of watches, I see a parallel of gears and a team, all working together to reach a final goal, in terms of a watch, telling time. This also brings me to another important value, time. We are only given so much time in the day. It's a skill to manage time. We are given timelines and from now until then, we have to plan out when things get done but also keeping high quality of work. At the end of the day, we need time to do work and we need time for ourselves.
