I am also certified to teach high school Journalism.I have also served as the RTI Director at the Gause School, and as the 8th grade Journalism teacher. I incorporate computer-based learning into my classes, requiring students to become comfortable with using the internet to complete lessons, working back and forth between internet applications and desktop applications, as well as learning internet etiquette.My experience is very broad within the software industry, focusing on software design, product management, technical writing, project management, as well as managing and hiring employees.In regards to writing in general, I have experience writing in multiple arenas. I wrote a weekly newspaper column for the Rockdale Reporter for three years. Other experiences include print and broadcast media, fundraising, technical writing (step-by-step guides, user documentation, design specifications), Powerpoint presentations, newsletters, brochures, and other commercial-type media. I am also a fiction writer.I am comfortable speaking in front of large groups. My experience includes presenting new product information in front of sales and marketing representatives, as well as customers; and presenting information to students from the 4th grade through the 8th grade.Specialties: critical thinking and decision-making, resource management, project management, communicating complicated ideas in an easy-to-understand manner.I am a member of the Milano ISD School Board, where I serve as the Secretary of the Board.
