TL;DR: I'm a full-stack developer just trying to keep up with the insane amount of new technologies, but very proficient in .Net Core, C#, JS/ES6, Node.js, CSS and AEM. I've been interested in software development since the mid 90's. I've been primarily Microsoft and started with old VB 5.0/C++ based windows applications on my spare time when I was in high school. I've been professionally working in Software Development since 1999 and quickly jumped into classic ASP and VB 6.0 right out of high school; bypassing college.. I started working with .Net in 2001 while in beta and have developed in every major runtime including 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.5, 4.5, 4.7.2 primarily in C#. During this time, since this was primarily web development, I was acclimated to Front End and was trained very early to do everything "pixel perfect." Due to this, I've learned many Front End techniques and frameworks along the way and have kept up with both Backend and Front End technologies. However... with the advent of responsive webdesign all of that has been thrown out the window to a degree, but I find it still keeps me level. In addition to the above, starting in 2008 I branched out to new technologies. I've worked with a few PHP frameworks including Zend, done numerous Wordpress sites, I have done a few objective-c apps (iOS) and even worked with some Java technologies. A few years ago I was fully trained in CQ5 and then again in AEM 6.2. Which I used to help architect the migration of subaru.com over to AEM.Through my career though, I always seem to come back to C# since Microsoft has been great about pushing that technology forward to keep it as relevant as ever. At Rypen we're migrating our internal systems to micro services (for better or worse). To do this we're utilizing Docker containers and the .Net Core run-time through AWS' elastic container storage in production. It sounds way cooler than it actually is.
Listed skills include C#, Asp.Net, Asp.Net Mvc, Jquery, and 30 others.
