Plan, develop, organize, coordinate, and supervise instructional programs and campusactivities, including design /delivery processes and the development of implementationstrategies; Monitor instructional processes; Provide instructional resources and materials to support teaching staff in accomplishing instructional goals; Foster collegiality and team building among staff members; encourage staff involvement in decision-making processes;Develop campus budgets based on program needs, estimated enrollment, personnel; keep programs within budget limits; maintain fiscal control; Work with faculty and students to develop a student-discipline management system that results in positive student behavior and enhances school climate; Encourage community and parent involvement; Oversee employee performance, record observations and conduct evaluation conferences with staff.

Assist in the planning, development, organization, coordination, and supervision of school instructional programs and activities including curriculum development, program and activity development; Advise, counsel and assist instruction, support/ancillary personnel in problem solving activities pertaining to student behavior management, shaping and control problems and in the determination of alternative solutions;Review, audit and evaluate student attendance processes and procedures; Promote the use of technology in the teaching/learning process; Assist principal in the development, maintenance, and use of information systems to track progress of campus performance objectives and academic excellent indicators;Observe employee performance, record observations and conduct evaluation conferences; Requisition textbooks and equipment; check inventory, maintain records and verify receipt of materials; Coordinate transportation, custodial, cafeteria and other support services; Ensure adequate supervision of students during non-instructional periods; Help to develop a student discipline management system that results in positive student behavior; Conduct conferences on student and school issues with parents, students, and teachers.

Assist teachers in preparation for instruction and the appropriate pacing of lessons; Model research-based instructional strategies; Design and oversee the implementation of curriculum and instructional activities; Provide data analysis training ;Guide teachers in the use of screening, diagnostic, and progress monitoring assessments; Provide one-on-one teacher assistance; Develop strategic intervention methods that provide instructional support for students functioning below grade level in content and program areas;Provide focused, sustained training that assists teachers in meeting data-driven, collaboratively determined instructional goals; Interface with all appropriate departments and personnel to insure program coordination and implementation; Work with administration to develop and facilitate professional development sessions based on need and meant to improve professional staff members' skills; Participate in curriculum development and revisions ; Assist teachers in obtaining instructional materials for curriculum development and implementation.

Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles;Establish efficient classroom management procedures; Continually evaluate and record various aspects of students’ progress and report to parents as needed/ required; Understand and plan lessons for substitutes; Provide a variety of planned learning experiences using methods that motivate students; Identify student needs and cooperate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students resolve learning concerns/ problems; Be available for counseling with students and parents before and after school; Plan and coordinate the work of aides and other paraprofessional and student teachers that provide in-class assistance (when applicable); Keep accurate records of student information; compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required.

Investigate reports of child abuse or neglect to determine whether any child in a reported family has been abused or neglected. Decide if there are any threats to the safety of all children in the home. Determine whether the parents are willing and able to adequately manage threats to keep children safe.
