Currently I work for Alcon (formerly part of Novartis) and dynamically lead a campus of 1,700 associates, supporting Manufacturing, R&D, and Distribution at the world’s highest volume contact lens manufacturing site. For the past five years I have been leading through periods of significant growth and organizational change. I drive the production of over one billion contact lenses per year by facilitating a strong Safety, Quality and Performance culture. I lead an engaged environment that empowers all team members and assures collaboration and accountability. Sustained success has been achieved by energizing the hearts and minds of the entire family of associates.I have broad expertise gained by leading Production, Quality, Engineering, Marketing and R&D organizations across multiple businesses. I developed sales and marketing plans for multi plant operations with full P&L responsibility. I have a Six Sigma Black Belt with Lean Manufacturing Methodologies expertise.I spent ten years working for Gillette (P&G) and was selected for their Executive Development Program and rotated through global roles in Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing and New Product Development. During my time with Gillette, I helped launch consumer products globally. After leaving Gillette, I worked as the Head of Engineering & R&D (Europe) for SOLA Optical and also worked for a year as Director of Global Branding (Progressives).
