I'm a DevOps Cloud computing Manager, with more than 15 years of experience in the Telecommunications and Information Technology industries, combining deep technical knowledge, vast hands-on experience, and solid business understanding.AREAS OF EXPERTISE- Container Platforms: I started researching and experimenting with Docker in 2013, when it was still in the ‘incubation’ stage and with Kubernetes when it first launched. Extensive familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker internals. Vast experience in designing, building and automating Kubernetes and Docker-based container deployments. Experienced with Kubernetes and Docker troubleshooting and debugging at the source-code level.- Cloud Platforms: Intimate familiarity with OpenStack & OpenShift internals. Vast experience in designing, building and automating OpenStack & OpenShift clouds. Experienced with OpenStack & OpenShift troubleshooting and debugging at code level.- Network Function Virtualization(NFV): Proven experience in architecting, designing and engineering real-world NFV based solutions. Extensive familiarity with the ETSI NFV specifications and use cases.-Software Defined Networking(SDN): Thorough understanding of SDN. Decent familiarity with the OpenFlow specifications. Vast hands-on experience with Linux mass deployments, services management, performance analysis and tuning and troubleshooting.- Networking: Solid knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and layers, Cloud network design and practical implementations. Decent understanding of Mobile networks architecture. Knowledge and experience with data-plane acceleration technologies such as DPDK.- Storage: Well versed in all aspects of Cloud storage design, sizing, scaling, I/O performance and the I/O kernel path. Experienced in performance analysis and tuning of distributed storage systems, such as Ceph.- Programming: Vast experience with Cloud and Linux scripting and automation. Python is my language of choice for most tasks. I am also writing in BASH and have a C# with SQL background.
