A Technical Assistant role for a local sub-sea civil engineering consultancy firm who specialise in geological evaluation, site investigation, geotechnical engineering and material testing primarily for the Northwest Shelf of Australia. My work was primarily in the laboratory assisting with sample preparation and handle, material testing, and warehouse inventory management. During my rather excessive involvement with the Formula-SAE design competition through Curtin Motorsport, I have had the opportunity to work on a large number of engineering design projects for multiple vehicle systems. These have included cooling systems, oil systems, and driveline. On top of this in 2013 I was the Project Manager for the Team, the highest leadership role, overseeing budget, sponsorship and long term goals. Notably finishing 2nd in the Engineering Design event too.

An assembly engineering role at a local engineering firm specialising the design, development and manufacturing of passenger car superchargers for a global market. My work was primarily with the Assembly Department, assembling superchargers and vehicle kits under environmentally independent clean room conditions. I also was responsible of reliability testing for all assembled superchargers prior to their clearance for market. I was required to develop strong skills in the reading of assembly drawings, working with inventory systems, assembly with tight tolerances, tolerance checking of units assembled by other technicians.
