Planning And Production Engineer
Current• Spearhead material and production planning and scheduling, skillfully managing critical path logic networks and consistently identifying bottlenecks along with managing a team of 70 employees with 2 supervisors and 1 production coordinator• Profitability targets (EBITDA) with achievement of OEE & OTIF targets.• Leading team for 5’s and KAIZEN activities and cultural development for WCM• Maximize line utilization by optimized planning techniques to increase productivity and profitability• Minimize change overs and tact time along with inventory turnover maximization• Monitor and control production schedules, maintaining the balance between time, cost, changeover, and quality constraints• Establish robust systems and procedures to deliver top-notch products to clients• Identifying risks and presenting opportunities and solutions to management.• Ensure SAP MRP has updated production dates• Ensure MSL (Min Stock Level) maintained in all UAE warehouses• Communicate with local sales team for orders and delivery dates• Maintain the raw material levels through MRP system using SAP• Run weekly system reports to determine material shortages• Responsible for plant’s raw materials and raise PR timely• Communicate with other plants for inter-plant produced raw materials• Monthly stock counts and update management for WIP inventory.• Work on process improvement, enhance productivity and reduce wastage Salient Achievements:• Improved productivity by increasing Line Utilization from 60-65% to 88% through SMED (Quick c/o) & KANBAN project• Lead role in WCM (Continuous Improvement) Project Leading CD, AM, PM, FI and WO Pillars• Yield Improvement from 82-84 % to 92% by improving material utilization and rejection control by 5W+1H and 5 Why tools• Implemented 2 standard KAIZEN for yield improvement and Cost saving• Developed Operators Skill Matrix and promoted Multi Skilling rule (3x2x3) • Implement ABC Inventory classification and WIP stock count protocol
