My name is Shayan Ali and I prefer to be called by my pronouns: he/him. My hobbies include reading, writing, volunteering, and exercising. I am comfortable using AutoCAD, Revit, Word, and Excel. Currently, I'm a sophomore at UF, looking to become a Certified Public Accountant in the future. Moreover, all of these courses required specific writing projects which included writing a short novel, a scholarly analysis, and a critique. By choosing to major in accounting, I hope to achieve my short-term goal of getting accepted into the Fisher School of Accounting's 3/2 program in the future. Besides that, my long-term goals are to become a Certified Public Accountant and work in the public sector before transitioning into a long-term position at a private firm.
