Shay is an experienced non executive director, advisor and independent Chair, working with boards in commercial and not for profit sectors. During a 10 year tenure as part of the adidas UK & IRE senior leadership team Shay led marketing, communications and product development teams to create the platform for long term growth in football and fitness. Re-engaged and retained as a consultant for 5 years in 2003 to kick start sales in running and football through disruptive digital marketing and e-commerce strategies linked to events and product launches; in retail and online, designing, creating and hosting the Adidas brands first football e-commerce platform, monetised through integrated campaigns and mass sport events and fan engagement programs. During an 18 year tenure Shay founded his own industry award winning integrated marketing agency specialising in digital marketing and ecommerce for sport, fashion, FMCG and retail sectors.
