My staff are agents for the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and are responsible for the Registering and Titling of vehicles and the collection of sales tax for vehicles sold in Bell County. We are also responsible for collection of the County Fees for the Alcohol Permits sold in the County.The assessing/collecting of ad valorem (property) taxes in Bell County were contracted out to the Bell County Appraisal District in 1987. An Elections Administrator position was created in Bell County in 2013 and the Elections department is responsible for Voter Registration.

Head of IT and Operations at digital marketing startup company, responsible for all client and internal hosting, architecture design, website development and creation, and deployment of web technologies with a team of 10.One of the first challenges was to architect, develop, and deploy a fully redundant and scalable infrastructure to host our client’s internet presence in less than 4 weeks over the December holidays. I had to work with third party vendors that matched our needs for subscription services, web hosting services, advertising platforms, a content management system, a content delivery network, internal email service, ticketing system, and also a credit card gateway and processor. With my web hosting background we accomplished this in a few weeks with time to test. With our strict deadline of December 31st, the migration of our first customer to our infrastructure was seamless to the subscribers.With the migration of the first customer completed, we needed to create disaster recovery procedures and system security updates. With a team of three developers, we developed the processes and schedules to update our systems and take backups of the database and file structure for the websites at regular intervals. We implemented off-site backups of the entire infrastructure and the ability to restore the system if needed, with minimal down-time. The founders of our company and sales department were not able to bring in the new clients as promised due to the potential client’s contracts with their current providers. As a result, we migrated our customers to another provider and closed our business at the end of September 2011.
