I was responsible for providing air transport and helicopter expertise to the Brigade Commander and Brigade staff during multiple military exercises and real-world operations. I planned complex multi national military air serials, which contained various aircraft, with different capabilities and limitations. This lead to the successful completion of large multi-national parachuting exercises throughout Europe, Africa and North America.I was also responsible for developing 16X Joint Personnel Recovery doctrine, training and implementation and ensuring it was consistent with UK and NATO guidelines.

I was responsible for planning and executing time critical and sensitive missions transporting high valued customers such as HRH Prince Charles, the UK Prime Minister and Cabinet members as well as senior military leaders.

I was responsible in helping conduct C130J missions throughout the Middle East and Africa. This often involved flying personnel, equipment, vehicles or humanitarian aid into complex airfields with minimum support.

I was selected to attend Initial Officer Training at RAF Cranwell. On graduation, I was placed in the flying training branch within the RAF. This lead to the successful completion of pilot training and I was awarded my Pilot Wings as a Multi Engine Pilot.

I served as a Private in the 1st Battalion of The Parachute Regiment, after successfully completing P Company and parachute training. From January 2003, I was part of the Signals Platoon and successfully completed a tour in Iraq during Op Telic 1. I was also made responsible for the Battalion's IT equipment. This involved cataloging, updating and maintaining the 600 PCs that were in use with 1 PARA at the time. In May 2005, I transferred from 1 PARA to the RAF Officer Training at RAF Cranwell.

I worked as a substitute Computer Science teacher at Edenvale High School, as my predecessor had departed for a job in the private sector. This has a 5 month contract to enable the school to run a comprehensive recruitment process for a permanent Computer Science teacher. I was in charge of 4 classes of teenagers, with ages between 15 - 18. I was responsible for ensuring that the students were adequately prepared for their end of year exam. For 2 classes, this exam was their school leaving exam (otherwise known as their Matric)
