Being part of the Professional Services team this involved setting up and running demonstrations on Production Colour and Black and White machines to best show off the quality and versatility on varied stocks and large varieties of file types and finishing options. Dealing closely with sales and customers.Carrying out post installation training and support on Production (Konica Minolta), Cost Recovery, Scanning Solutions, and Wide format equipment (Oce and HP). Installations, Demonstrations and training of several software products including Supervisor (Monitor), PaperCut MF and NG, Pcounter and PcounterPro, Scanz, Infotraq, DocRecord, eCopy, FileBound and Kofax.

This involved management of a team of 8 technicians (Stock, service budgets, training, sales advice, customer liaison). I was also the IT technician in the branch, which made me the front man for any interfaced products that required connection to customer networks. This meant dealing direct with customer IT depts and where no IT specialist doing the complete installation on my own, even setting up small networks on customer premises.I was heavily involved in initial sale of product and worked closely with sales in tailoring the product to the customer and where no IT presence getting the initial site survey signed off to ensure installation went smoothly and our product would work on the customers network infrastructure.I designed and tailored a course, which I ran for Tauranga technicians on basic networking and the connectivity of our devices. This included basic faultfinding on a network, connecting and installation of print drivers on various operating systems, upgrading firmware on devices, and installation of several software products.I also carried out a course on the midrange colour copier, printer that I ran in the Tauranga branch.I am trained, and work on all analogue Black and White copiers, low, midrange, and production black and white and colour digital copier/printer/scanners, production fiery, creo colour RIP’s, Oki fax/printers, Oce wide format digital plan printers/scanners, Oce analogue plan copiers, HP printers, and brother fax/mfds/printers.I am computer literate in the following operating systems, Dos, Win3.X, Win9.X, Win NT, Win2K, WinXP, Win7, 2008R2, and have undergone a course in Sun unix.I am also competent with the Microsoft Office set of programs as well as various scanning and printing software.
