Strategic Planning CommitteeAsis International Jan 2018 - Sep 2018SEPTEMBER 2018On 9/23/2018 during its formal meeting, the ASIS Board approved the 2020-2024 Strategic Framework.Work to invite input on the four plan “pillars” begun at GSX, 2018 as directions were shared with Councils, SRVPs, RVPs, ARVPs, Chapter Chairs, and other leaders at the Town Hall, and in other venues throughout the week. Members were encouraged to attend the presentation to Councils on Content Strategy on Monday 24 September, LVCC, Room N260. It was an early opportunity to see how the Strategic Framework begins to influence focus in the short term and beyond. Now that ASIS has a new Strategic Framework, this Committee’s work is complete; and the work of Strategic Planning returns directly to the Board. The strategic planning committee played a critical role in the future direction of ASIS at an important moment in its growth, setting a high bar for the Board, as ASIS Directors assume the important task of Strategic Planning going forward. MAY 2018About 20 participants representing the ASIS Strategic Planning Committee met in San Diego in early May 2018. The group comprised of the ASIS 2018 President Richard Chase, ASIS CEO Peter O’Neill, Adam Savino, ASIS Strategic Planning Manager, and key executives from ASIS, and Volunteer ASIS members.The group had a very successful planning meeting and key activities several updates. These included recognition of the quality work being performed by the other groups including the work and input on AI & VR. This input was instrumental in assisting the group about future opportunities as it conferred and visioned strategic opportunities for ASIS and its members.
