Diersen Welding & Fabrication is complete metal fabrication company from aided design assistance to delivery of the finished product. We specialize in Architectural and Decorative Metal work including custom doors, windows, decorative panels, railings and hand rail, to touch on what we do. We also design and build custom Automotive Turn Tables of all sizes used for residential use as well as commercial auto shows and auctions. Our turn tables have also been used on and as stages for bands, dancers and just about any other type of entertainment where a turn table makes a great addition to the show. Another facet of our business is to assist companies with handling offload work they either cannot handle at the moment, do not want to handle and want to specialize in what they do best, or simply are overloaded and need our assistance for a time to help them catch up with their work load.

Inside Sales: Assist customers via phone, email or in person with their plumbing needs. Aid them in finding the correct product and provide the best customer service possible. With Diersen Welding & Fabrication I am part of a 3 Member LLC specializing in all forms of welding and fabrication. We can weld all materials including mild steel, hardened steel, most all forms of stainless steel and most all grades of aluminum. We also produce specialized and one of a kind furniture and home products such as fire pits, smokers, patio furniture, custom gates and architectural accents.

Responsible for managing the entire outbound supply chain to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of all products encompassed by the plumbing industry. This includes the pulling of all materials as required by sales demands coming from 10 outside locations, checking pulled materials for accuracy and product quality, packaging all materials for delivery, loading all materials on to truck fleet, and scheduling all deliveries based on time and location requirements. Currently maintaining a 99.79% accuracy rate on all outbound deliveries based on quantity of product pulled and shipped directly to Customers, both internal and external. Also responsible for the management of an 80,000 sq ft warehouse and stock yard to ensure product integrity and accuracy, along with the maintenance management of a fleet of 10 trucks, 4 pickers, 3 forklifts, and 1 reach.

Responsible for managing the implementation and execution of the Purchasing and Warehouse strategy for assigned commodities and products, ensuring ongoing cross-functional coordination, and delivering annual improvements in total cost, quality, and service.Also responsible for sourcing processes and store strategy development, supplier selection, negotiation, and strategy refinement. Additionally I support the development and implementation for strong business systems to establish and manage supplier partnerships and to positively contribute to company objectives.Work is performed within broad authority, receiving little direction. Problem resolution requires a substantial degree of resourcefulness to originate new methods of analysis and / or methods of operation. Work is highly specialized in its complexity and involves a high degree of independent judgment to develop policies, processes, and systems in situations where considerable variation in interpretation is possible. Ensures established results are achieved for the function involving a group of leaders or professionals. Work is reviewed for attainment of objectives and co-ordination / alignment with the work of other functions / units within the organization. * I research and recommend sourcing and inventory management techniques, best practices, and strategies.* I participate in the development, communication, and training of corporate sourcing processes and strategies.* Collaborate in and supervise the implementation of new and/or enhanced sourcing processes at our Corporate Offices as well as over 12 different mine locations throughout North America.* I also identify external price and market indices used to measure and track internal buying, supplier performance, and/or ,market trends.* I supervise a staff of 5 Buyers, Planners, Inventory Control personnel.* Do a lot of travelling to our North American Mine Sites, primariliy within Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah.* Responsible for an annual budget of over $500M in services and goods.* Also responsible for writing, negotiating, bidding and administiring contracts for services at our mine site locations ranging from $50K to $20M each.

o In-depth research of potential suppliers (financials, delivery, offerings), to ensure proper fit with program requirementso Conducted on-site inspections of overall business, including supply chain, procurement, records retention, packing & shipping, and quality.o Responsible for contract negotiations from beginning to end.o Focal point for Leadership both within Honeywell Consumables Solutions as well as Honeywell International (conducted presentations, program status, contract penetration status, and yearly productivity based on contract re-negotiations)o Daily liaison between Internal Customers, External Customers, Quality and Sourcingo Responsible for conducting training sessions for employees pertaining to operating systems, procurement techniques, standard practices, and additional topics as needed

Developed, implemented and managed the procurement and supply chain activities for the company Interfaced with Engineering, Estimating, and Production to ensure proper support and delivery schedules were met. Adjusted to fast paced work environment with constant change order revisions from Customers and delivery deadline changes. Negotiated long-term contracts with suppliers to lock in material costs in volatile metals market, resulting in over $25M in annual spend and a year – over – year positive productivity of 15%

Supervised 18 employees in the production of wire form boards (Hired, trained, supervised and conducted performance reviews on quarterly basis for all employees). Reported to Leadership on daily and weekly basis of production output and schedule. Worked with Engineering to develop cost saving techniques for production to successfully reduce production costs by $500K annually

Responsible for certification maintenance for all hand and power crimp tools used in the manufacturing and production of aircraft wire harnesses and scheduled purchasing forecasts for parts and tools as needed to support production. Adhered to numerous specifications determined by program as to certification cycles and testing procedures for both DOD and FAA customers. Overhauled the certification process and department and became the baseline for the rest of the Boeing organization. Responsible for the purchasing decisions of eight Buyers. Approved purchases over $10k. Managed purchasing card program with spend of over $500k monthly.
