Founded on May 4, 2010, MagiT3K started as a concept; the idea: an organization that could concurrently generate revenue for charitable causes and improve many lives in the process. Our main objectives are environmental preservation and community assistance. Through an intense, directed plan of action, we intend to propagate these core values through various recycling, employment, and mentorship programs. Our goal is to reduce societal waste, and leverage the advantages of being in the recycling business to provide otherwise unavailable advantages and opportunities to individuals willing to learn, develop, and grow as citizens and humanitarians.

Green Jungle started as an idea to allow people to express their individuality through sound and music. The idea first came to me while working at CHD and being involved with the residents music outlet program. Their, a music teacher came to the program and taught the residents the history of hip hop and allowed them to record their own music. This positive outlet stream allowed the residents to release their anger in the music rather than on another individual. Based out of Newington, CT in the Arrow Road business center, we then became an outlet for many different recording artist. With no genre being its main focus we allowed for many different nationalities to come and record with us. Being the COO I was heavily involved with finding clients through different marketing and promoting plans.

Being a teacher aide was an experience that could never be forgotten. Watching a child learn something new for the first time and knowing that you helped teach it to him brought a different type of joy to my heart. My job description here was to help maintain a positive atmosphere for learning in a classroom setting. Although we were a secure facility and restraints did occur, growth within our residents did happen also. The two classes that I assisted teachers in were History and Math.

Wanting to make a difference in children who have had a hard upbringing was always something that I wanted to do. I pride myself in knowing that I fulfill my goal and helped a few children by putting a positive outlook on life for them at RFK. Here I worked the floor as a residential counselor. My main job description was being involved with moral boosting for the children while monitoring and interacting with them to promote positive growth. This program was not a locked door treatment facility so I was able to take the children out on different events and I also brought them home to see their family on different weekends. I was also involved in the NYPUM program which is a behavioral outlet for children using mini-bikes. Restraints were necessary if de-escalation procedures didn't work but after we always explained to the children why it was done and other ways they could have handled the situation.
