Shayne's duties were to design and execute a new product development process creating buy in from all departments for a quick and accurate launch of new products. He was responsible to create the 2 year product development roadmap and make sure that the products designed met the standards of the various brands for which they would be launched into. He participated in many executive level meetings, financial reviews, and reported directly to the CEO. Adding to his already extensive background in product development and manufacturing processes, Shayne is excited for the far greater knowledge he gleaned about the success and pitfalls of brands and the intricacies of many different types of food manufacturers from RTD, carbonated beverages, bars, solid dose, shots, gels, cheese, meat sticks, pork rinds, and chocolates. During his 12 years at Genysis, Shayne was able to architect, recruit for, and oversee several key departments. These groups include Product Development, the Project Management Office, and Business Development. I am very excited for my next adventure in the nutrition and supplement space. I have a very diverse background with experience in supply chain, quality, sales, project management, partnering, product development (both at a manufacturer and for multiple brands), and executive leadership and strategy development and execution. I have been involved in multiple startups that have grown significantly and understand what it takes to wear many hats and build an organization into a well running machine. I have been able to set up and design processes around lean and removing waste, creating high functioning value streams. Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Officer, I am now fully accountable for our top line revenue numbers. This involves the continuation of new client acquisition and also oversight and accountability for our current customer relationships. For new clients, we seek out the best brands that align with a higher purpose of truly forming partnerships and working above just the bottom line price of a finished good. We have an amazing team at Genysis that we love to leverage to help small and large brands alike grow and accomplish their goals. Through weekly S&OP meetings, we integrate the sales side of the business with operations. As a contract manufacturer, in the past we have been able to plan only as good as our customers, which in some cases is very little planning and many cases, urgent firefighting. A very significant part of this position is the negotiation of contracts with current clients and securing strong business relationships that truly allow us to form lasting partnerships, not just functioning from one PO to the next. By being in tune with our clients and overall market, we are able to help operations perform at a higher level and make CAPEX and other business decisions based on a more accurate outlook than we have ever had in the past.

Genysis Brand Solutions has a defined strategy of being best in class in the dietary supplement manufacturing industry through servicing our clients and truly being the full back end support that brands need and deserve. We are a brand solutions provider so that our brands can do what they do best, build their brands. I am now developing new business with a talented and eager team of associates. This as a very exciting role as we have some programs that basically sell themselves. Our philosophy is to truly become integrated partners with our clients and when clients engage, we have been able to do amazing things like have consistent sub 4 week lead times (this includes a week of finished good testing!). Industry leading product launch lead-times and product fulfillment times are some of our leading capabilities. Our quality management system is able to withstand the toughest audits and are continuing the pursuit of more and more certifications. The completion of our facility expansion and journey to a Lean Enterprise has given us increased capacity. We have production availability on all shifts. It is a very exciting time at Genysis Brand Solutions and we look forward to many new relationships we will be forming in the coming years as well as continuing to build on our current integrated partnerships.Our Project Management Office has allowed us to completely revamp how we run our business while still meeting the challenging needs of our clients and quality requirements. Sr. Vp R&D, Quality, And Cio (Continuous Improvement Office)
I have worked on assembling and building out the new quality group at VMI that is responsible for FDA and NSF audits, as well as all other client audits. This quality team involved hiring a Director of Quality, a Sr. Manager of QA, a Food safety Manager, and several other Quality Service Managers. The team is doing great at driving VMI to the highest levels of quality. In addition to building the quality, VMI Nutrition has started a journey into becoming a top Lean Enterprise company in the Powder Manufacturing space. I assemble and lead the Continuous Improvement Office which coordinates and manages small and large projects across the entire organization. The CIO is composed of 5 professional full time project managers and involved in the design and implementation of all improvement projects across the organization. We also oversee and conduct Kaizen Blitzz events that are very focused on process improvements on an very accelerated time line, typically 1 week to improve a process and make sure it meets regulatory requirements while increasing productivity.

I am the director of product development and have developed the entire product development function at VMI Nutrition. This includes assembling the team consisting of regulatory manager, chemist, nutrition, applications lab leads, product development leads, etc. I have mapped out the entire product develop process with so that we can develop products quickly and accurately that comply with current cGMP regulations. I oversee all new products that run at VMI Nutrition and get them from concept to production as quickly as possible. I am over strategic sourcing of all new raw materials for new products. I work with an extensive vendor network to source and qualify with our lab new raw materials that are science backed that we can present to our clients for value add to their product formulations. I manage materials on a very high level with key focus over strategic high priority, high dollar inventory.I worked with production and purchasing to implement new ways to manage products to tight restrictions like prop 65, etc. I have worked on and managed the writing of many SOP's that involve product development and the testing of dietary supplements and nutritional products. I work directly with our lab on all new products to come up with testing plans that our allow clients to comply with FDA regulations for dietary supplements. We have developed many very successful products and work directly with key stakeholders of some of the largest sports nutrition and MLM companies. We have also been the development / R&D arm for many of our brand clients and have developed an entire suite of products to cover all their formulation needs.
