• Facilitate/co-facilitate educational support groups, focusing on self-regulation, conflict resolution, trauma management and effective communication for at risk youth ages 12-24.• Provide housing and employment resources as needed for the youth.• Assist with developing parenting plans to the teens who are parents.• Develop housing and employment plans to all trauma circle participants and provide any resources to help reach those goals.• Assist mothers with maintaining work-life balance and professional well-being while navigating through transitional housing. • Host social events at the shelters for the peers. • Driving/and or transporting youth as needed.• Provide concise communication via case notes, staff logs, phone contacts, resident files, medical administration forms, etc. • Be a positive role model for the youth, and resolve conflict in a constructive fashion. • Take crisis calls, conduct call screenings, intakes, and discharges.
