Dr Shazif Othman graduated from University College Cork, Ireland and obtained his Honours Degree of Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Obstetrics MB BCh BAO (NUI) in 2012. Started his career in Hospital Tawau Sabah as an intern and then transferred to Hospital Sungai Buloh in Anaesthesiology and ICU Department. Dr Shazif has a burning passion of changing lives of patients, not just by medications and medical treatments, but by changing the root cause of their illness which is their lifestyle. He then further trained to be come a fitness instructor and personal trainer, and was certified by Fitness Edutraining Asia/FITM. From there he was training clients especially during the Covid time, through a fitness program named Bukan Soal Kurus (BSK) under fitness guru, Kevin Zahri, and was awarded as the Best Coach Overall during BSK Season 4. Coach Dr Shazif (CDS) is also a certified coach for FitMalaysiaX, under Institute Sukan Negara (ISN). Currently, he is also one of the directors of TeamCC7 Fitness Studio located in Cyberjaya and handles health programs such as Makan,Makan, Makan, Kurus (3MK), Big to Slim (BTS) and also meal plans which advocates real science based diet and lifestyle that truly and sustainably results in fitness and fat loss.Other than practicing as a doctor and fitness coach, CDS does a lot of talks as well, online and offline as he is also a Certified HRDF Speaker. Mainly in the topics of health, diseases, prevention, lifestyle change, culturing healthy habits and many more related topics. Featured in a few medical program such as RTM’s Info Medik Segment (on obesity), Doktor Jalanan (on addiction) before this and he also acted in several dramas such as Camelia and Sara Sajeeda (TV3), Sut Putih (RTM) and the movie EVA. Recent interest includes trauma healing and intimacy, and is managing a project for eHati International sdn bhd.
