As a Software Engineer at Tekion Corp, I apply my data engineering skills and knowledge to migrate data from old dealer management systems (DMSs) to Tekion's ARC DMS, a cloud-based platform that enables automotive dealers to manage their operations seamlessly. I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Software Engineering from Institute of Technical Education and Research in 2018, where I learned the fundamentals of programming, web development, machine learning, and big data.In my current role, I use Pyspark to read data from various sources and formats, such as CSV, JSON, XML, and SQL, and transform it to meet the standards and requirements of Tekion's ARC DMS. I also use AWS Glue to write and run jobs that process data in parallel, ensuring speed and efficiency. Additionally, I use AWS Athena to query and validate data using SQL. I have successfully completed several data migration projects with the help of my team, delivering accurate and reliable results to our clients. I am passionate about data engineering and eager to learn new technologies and tools that can enhance my performance and value. I am also interested in exploring the applications of machine learning and blockchain in the automotive industry, and how they can improve customer experience and satisfaction. I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have worked with different clients, domains, and technologies in my previous roles as a Specialist Programmer and a System Engineer at Infosys.
