After creating an overview of the current IT landscape the gaps with this strategy were identified. Based on the current landscape and the gaps proposed a future data driven architecture and advised on the next steps

The International Mail department of PostNL merged with the PostNL owned company Spring and decided a dedicated IT team within the new business unit was needed• Designed and implemented the team (called Business Information and Development), managed the Works council process and recruited team members• Direct reports: 7fte, business consultants, analysts and project managers • Reports to the Director Strategy and Major Change• Developed a new IT platform supporting new cross border eCommerce business covering sales, operations and finance• Developed an IT strategy covering the entire supply chain for forward and reverse logistics• Started projects to fit the gaps between the IT landscape and the IT strategy to manage the transition of the supply chain from mail to parcels

A national supermarket chain’s ICT systems were outdated and fragmented. Based on Ernst & Young’s consultation it decided to replace all ICT with a standardized integrated solution and adapt the supply chain and financial processes to the new system.• Direct report to the CFO and with the board of directors as project board managed the project team (6 FTE, including Ernst & Young consultants)• Developed a migration strategy based on a detailed description of current state of all departments (administration, merchandising, stores, logistics and warehouses)• Investment Proposal written for the board of commissioners • Completed contract negotiations with a selected vendor and implementation partner

Senior project manager Nuon Consultancy Group In the context of the liberalization of the energy market the administration of the utilities department and the sales department needed to be separated in all systems.
