About Shea Gorman
From a young age, I have held a deep respect and love of the outdoors, as well as great compassion for other people and living beings. I have been privileged with many opportunities to work and explore in both of these areas, and am excited for the next opportunity to combine my passions!The way I see it, working with people is a wonderful way to promote never-ending learning and personal growth. My experiences rising from a team member to a team leader, from a wilderness guide to a therapist, have emphasized for me the importance of listening to others in order to understand their perspective. This allows me to empower my clients to become the best version of themselves - which, in turn, inspires me to continue pursuing that goal for myself. When people know their value and potential, everybody wins.While I consider myself an adventure-seeker, I have learned the value of seeking exciting new explorations within my own community. Working with people in remote wilderness and then working with people in the community has opened my eyes to all of the possibility of embracing the beauty of one's natural surroundings. I am looking forward to my next opportunity to work in the outdoors with other people, and experience the natural beauty in both!
