I am currently a Revit Designer specializing in semiconductor fab construction working at the Micron Technology site in Boise, ID. My primary focus is on piping for basebuild and tool install projects but I also work in as-built and architectural and structural disciplines as needed.Previously I was the Drafting Manager at Forge Building Construction, where I led the successful internal transition from traditional 2D CAD to 3D modeling and Building Information Modeling (BIM) to harness the power of BIM and Intelligent Asset Management through Revit. I have already developed and implemented a number of custom tools via the Revit API and the Python programming language, leveraging the latest AI capabilities of ChatGPT-4o. I have used these skills to model structural framing from spreadsheet data, to facilitate the repair of analytical connections, and to streamline pipe support procedures that before took multiple teams hours to complete. This is an emerging area of application that not many people know is possible in Revit. This forward-looking orientation is indicative of my focus on optimizing design for manufacturability, ensuring seamless integration between design intent and practical execution on the construction site.I have years of experience modeling in Revit on the basebuild phase of massive semiconductor fab construction projects across architectural and structural disciplines, from structural steel and concrete to intricate ductwork, electrical, and piping systems. I also have extensive experience in the as-built phase, utilizing advanced technologies such as Recap and Faro As-built to construct 3D models of existing facilities from laser-scanned point clouds.
