Growing up on a cattle ranch in southern Oklahoma, I learned a lot lessons, some the hard way. There are two lessons that I that I reflect on daily when looking after the U.S. ruminant business. The first is “get the job done”, and second is “be true to your word.” I know that customer service, availability, and follow-up are critical factors in keeping customers happy. We work hard to earn the trust of our customers and strive to keep that trust through strong relationships. At the end of the day, we work with people and when they succeed, we succeed. New business development gives me the opportunity to learn about farming advancements and meet new people. Farmers, ranchers, dairymen and cattlemen in the U.S. are the best, most genuine people on this planet. I always look forward to the chance to meet someone new in this industry. At my desk I can focus on things like product placement, product development, strategic approach, supply logistics, product value, distribution etc. etc., but when I am on the farm it always comes down to how Anpario can add value to the lifeblood of this country.
