As Tutor/Counselor at Upward Bound I had various roles. I helped organize events and trips, developed and taught two courses geared towards high school students, performed administrative tasks including the upkeep of the excel database, and maintained ongoing supervision of the students throughout the summer, including a week-long residential trip where the students visit several colleges.

Worked as cashier at Saint Bonaventure’s dining hall, the Hickey and was responsible for taking inventory and recording cash flow.

Facilitated weekly tours for students in K – 12, some tours included arts and crafts workshops. I was also one of the monitors of the Art History Library.

Tutored students in writing by helping them outline writing assignments, proofread their work and meet deadlines. Assisted students with time management skills and helped students create workable schedules for their semester using an electronic calendar which was presented to my supervisor.

Provided administrative support for the Program Services Unit. This included printing, filing, alphabetizing and organizing documents. Also participated in site visits where I was required to submit a write-up to my supervisor. The write-up would be used to make decisions concerning the site’s or program’s eligibility for funding.

Temporary internship providing administrative support at Pace University's financial aid office. My tasks included filing, alphabetizing and organizing documents for the office administrators.

Participated in workshops and worked 144 hours at Blackstone, a global investment and advisory firm. I worked closely with the service desk. I installed and troubleshot routers, IP phones, projectors, desktops and I even helped solve minor software issues.

Worked with performing artists to develop a production that would be shown at White Wave Theater. The name of the show was "140 Characters: The Power of Words".
