As the MA I was responsible for EHR charting, stocking of rooms, and turnover of rooms. During my time in this role, I became responsible for reviewing and managing the MOHs surgery schedule to ensure appointments were scheduled appropriately; called all surgical patients to go over preoperative instructions, post operative instructions, prescribed all preoperative medications and explained the surgery process in great detail to ensure patient understanding; and ensured supplies needed for the procedure were available.
