I was recently employed as the Director of Accounting for TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods, which is comprised of three main business units: Agribusiness, Animal Health, and Food Beverage and Consumer Goods.

-Responsible for banking operations, check deposits, and daily reconciliation of bank to PeopleSoft financials balances.-Aided in the compilation Annual Financial Information Report for Bond Compliance, prepared the complete rough draft of the Uniform Cash Handling Manual for the entire County of Fresno, filed quarterly state reports, and assisted in the quarterly interest apportionment for investments held by the County.-Performed audits of accounting records/systems to assure procedural compliance and dependability of financial records.-Worked within ProSystem fx Engagement to audit work papers for the Treasurer Division’s portion of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).-Served on the Employee Association which hosted fundraising events within the department to earn capital for the purchase of water for the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer-Tax Collector Department.
