* Systems administration (including design, backup, security & user account management, network, office and applications services). * Support and implement hardware, software, and communication services. * Determine technology needs and perform analysis to fulfill business requirements. * Plan, implement, and support the network and computing infrastructure. * Manage small to medium sized projects according to agreed upon budgets and schedules. * Assist with technology planning through ongoing research. * Manage ongoing business process improvements and initiatives as they relate to infrastructure and security within the organization. * Analyze business process objects and apply appropriate policies and security assurances through various industry standards and recommendations(CERT, ISO, NIST, ITIL, CC, etc.)

*Maintain and manage operations of 4 Canadian PoP sites, including equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, provisioning, purchasing, and network design.*Ensure reliable delivery of customer access into all Canadian PoP sites and carryout technical responsibilities for all Canadian work orders.*Local IT Administration, including in-house software solutions, LAN design, and maintenance for all hardware and software services.*Provide 24/7 troubleshooting assistance (2nd level) to US helpdesk for all Canadian customer sites.*Interface with local carriers and field technicians during planning and implementation of technical services.*Provide trouble ticket escalations & incident reports.

*Design and install new network facilities for both factory and office environments.*Provide hands on training for network administrators and staff, utilizing new technology and centralized IT approaches.*Recommend and implement technical products/methods to increase company efficiency.*Troubleshoot and repair existing hardware/software systems.
