My 25 year legal career includes:- 7 years spent as an English lawyer with leading UK and US firms in London (including legal secondments at both Barclays Capital and BNP Paribas);- gaining an LLM (Distinction) in International & European law at the University of Amsterdam; - almost 17 years as an offshore lawyer practising Bermuda and BVI law;- recognition since 2013 as a leading / recommended offshore lawyer by Chambers & Partners (Global and UK editions) and since 2014 by Legal 500.- a position on the editorial board of a respected legal journal, International Corporate Rescue; and- publication of articles on various offshore matters.I have also been an active member of various international legal associations and external networking groups promoting, amongst other things, greater participation by women in senior legal and business roles and developing the talent pipeline through peer to peer mentoring and supporting junior lawyers.
