Responsible for examining existing Adult Discipleship offerings, and putting a new strategy in place, in a period of rapid, sustained growth. Plan, communicate, execute strategy - managing up to 4 employees and over 200 volunteers in order to execute ongoing discipleship pathways created. Under my leadership, we have seen over 800 people per year engage in groups/classes outside of a Sunday experience. My responsibilities have included creating a comprehensive strategy that connects people with multiple ways to grow in faith and in community, both in small groups and large. This includes creating more intimate settings for growth (in-home, on-line, within the church), as well as larger scale groups and events. I enjoy building teams and releasing them. I've acted as "project manager" for the creation of several 6 week video courses, and then executed their successful roll-outs. Create and oversee budget, operations, and overall management of AD at Summit. Additional responsibility includes oversight of our organization's Volunteer Recruiting/Placement team.

Established and cast vision of Summit Kids, through a season of exponential growth. During my tenure in Kids, we grew from a 250 person church to close to 2000 per Sunday, with up to 5 services per Sunday. Created a new model for Sundays, moving away from the traditional, selecting a curriculum that played to the logistical challenges that we had and requiring many more volunteers in more specialized roles. Grew the volunteer team from approx 30 to 150, developed team leads, led a paid staff of 4. Responsible for creating and developing a program largely staffed by volunteers, recruiting, coaching and training, creating ‘pathways’ of development, organizing and ensuring that we had appropriate and safe practices in all of our environments, and that as our ‘kids’ graduated the program, that they entered the next ministry (Jr High) with understanding of the faith and desire to continue on.
