Our app makes it easy to pay for goods and services over time at popular merchants and service providers.Nelo has over 100,000 users, is growing >30% month-on-month, and has a 4.8 on the Google Play Store. We're a team of 30 in CDMX and NYC, and have raised over $25MM from great investors (Two Sigma, Homebrew, Susa, and others).At Nelo, I manage product, engineering, design, data science, and risk. I managed the Uber Eats Expansion team, responsible for new markets and new business models. We were responsible for products including cash on delivery (critical for LATAM and India expansion), support for restaurants that do their own delivery (to be competitive in key markets like US, UK, ANZ), alcohol delivery, and item recommendations at checkout. In total, the team's products were directly responsible for over 20% of Eats orders globally and over $750MM in annualized bookings.I led a team of 11 engineers (backend, web, iOS and Android).

I built the restaurant/business signup service, led the development of scheduled deliveries for UberRUSH, built delivery-as-a-service for Eats restaurants, and built a number of internal tools for UberEats.Between these projects, I worked on systems written in JavaScript, Python and Go. Frontend was primarily React.

Overhead.fm is a webapp that provides customizable, licensed music for retail environments. We're the first device-agnostic background music provider.I co-founded Overhead.fm at Brown with Parker Wells. At Overhead.fm, I handled engineering/product, including building out our webapp, iOS app, Android app and API.A decade later, Overhead.fm continues to serve hundreds of small businesses across the US.
