Shedrack Musa is an outstanding and brilliant pharmacy student (Doctor of Pharmacy). He is the founder of Young Aware Minds initiative which is a mental health awareness initiative. He was born in Benue state, Nigeria and resides in Plateau state, and is pursuing his education at the University of Jos, Jos, Plateau State.Shedrack is a public health enthusiast and is very passionate about mental health particularly among young people. He is also very passionate about leadership and has been involved in organizing leadership seminars to build the leadership capacity of young people.He has successfully coordinated social impact projects among high schoolers and university students.Shedrack hopes to work in an area where he may further strengthen his advocacies and contribute to the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. He desires to effect a change in the attitude of Nigerians towards their health and in particular mental health and to improve the leadership capacity of the youths through health advocacy and leadership seminars/workshops respectively.He is developing himself as a healthcare leader and honing his skills in team leadership and management, public speaking, problem-solving, decision making, content creation (Graphic Design), among others.He is a simple and easygoing and loves to meet and interact with new people.
