Hello! I am Shee Rou, an undergraduate psychology student from James Cook University Singapore. I am a studious and introverted individual who takes responsibility in carrying out tasks assigned to me. I am also diligent in my studies and not hesitant to clarify anything when in doubt. Apart from academics, I endeavour performing abacus and mental arithmetic calculation skills, having known that abacus and mental calculation is my forte. Besides having abacus background from a tender age, I enjoy playing pop music on the piano during my free time. I enjoy exploring and partaking in plethora of activities that pique my curiosity as i believe that trying new things gives me avenue to expand my skills when carrying out daily activities. Even if trying new things requires time and effort, taking small steps, i am willing to leverage on new opportunities, take on new tasks and perform them to the best of my knowledge.I aspire to be a special needs teacher in the future as I am keen to understand individuals' behaviour and the emotional difficulties they encounter. After acquiring the working experience as an abacus teacher, I wanted to take a step forward to learn the extensiveness of human capabilities, as I believe that every individual conveys their own needs in different ways.
