• Administer both self-funded and fully insured benefits programs for domestic employees; ensuring that all plans meet the company’s strategic goals and are compliant with current legal requirements• Responsible for the annual enrollment project for over 10,000 employees at 26 plant locations including union, non-union, and salaried employees. • Developed and implemented the first annual health fair at the corporate location along with providing guidance to plant locations on how to organize their own events. This event includes all the benefit vendors, local wellness businesses, flu shots and giveaways.• Responsibility for 3 analysts in their initial training and continuous development towards a senior role. Included in this is developing their knowledge basis of benefits rules and regulations. Provide help with eligibility issues involving qualified life events and other exception requests so that the plans are compliant with company plan documents.

Maintaining up-to-date Summary Plan Documents for each of the plans.• Auditing medical, prescription, dental and vision trend data to ensure that the plan design is appropriately meeting the needs of employees and dependents• Identifying utilization trends through data analysis which points to strengths or opportunities with the plans and also divisions of the company. • Effectively provided support for annual benefits plan design in both the planning stage by providing information to the firm’s actuaries and developed corporate communication strategies. • Facilitated open enrollment presentations to present plan design changes to employees and to answer questions.• Responsible for meeting annual compliance requirements including 5500’s, Medicare Part D notices, CHIP notifications as well as regional compliance needs.
