As the people and experience manager for the Third Planet Collective, my main duties and responsibilities included assisting in the development of the company's culture and values – and bringing the values to life, ensuring that they permeate through everyday communication, actions, behaviors, and language. The role also requires designing and developing of VVP (Volunteer Value Proposition) . I am further responsible for determining the organization's volunteer requirements and regularly assessing for any capability gaps as well as emerging needs, Recruiting and building a pipeline of talent for micro/long-term volunteers by developing volunteer role descriptions, searching, screening, and interviewing) . I am further responsible for designing and implementing an onboarding programme for new volunteers and conducting training and development initiatives (self- run or outsourced). I am also responsible for developing and documenting TPC’s policies, procedures, and guidelines for future reference - Nurturing the volunteer network, aligning purpose, and building a thriving, consistent sense of community proactively checking for feedback, engagement, and satisfaction.
