My main responsibilities included overseeing a creative team and vetting the content produced by the agency. ● I managed the agency’s in-house video producer and eLearning curriculum developer and together, the 3 of us produce videos for both internal and external communication, recruitment, and learning.● Utilizing my experience as a clinician and trainer, I translated my institutional knowledge into digital training products for use both internally throughout the YAI Network and externally with other professionals and agencies supporting the I/DD community.● Additionally, I have been a Co-Facilitator of YAI’s You and I Program since 2007, a group socialization program that provides a safe and supportive environment for adults to make friends and explore the potential for dating and relationships.

I coordinated all aspects of web-based training, as well as supported the department Vice-President with sensitive administrative functions including budget management, hiring, grant proposals, and execution. ● I oversaw the development and implementation of YAI Learn, an online learning management system (Taleo Learn LMS) designed to expedite and efficiently train staff members. This was an enormous project that continues to help substantially reduce training costs and enhance the employee training compliance for YAI.● I managed a team of 3 who was responsible for executing all web-based training for 3,500-5,000 employees and ensuring the workforce’s compliance.● I was the Regional Training Liaison for 25 operational programs in Queens including: group homes, clinics, and day programs. Additionally, I continued to personally train staff on multiple topics.● I was part of a committee that developed some of the curricula for employees’ classroom training. The topics included the transition from paper to electronic (EMR) records and how to properly investigate issues by asking questions and then properly documenting the critical information.● I personally trained over 300 employees in topics such as crisis intervention, coping skills, and abuse prevention.● Additionally, I coordinated and instructed crisis intervention training programs in New Jersey and New York for over 200 people and became a certified PROMOTE instructor.

I was promoted to Assistant Coordinator after a year as a Special Projects Manager. ● I oversaw the development, implementation, and support of YAI Day Services Travel Training Program. This incredible program is a hands-on approach to helping people use mass transit. This program is still going strong today, and we have helped over 100 people become more independent and improve the quality of their lives through one-on-one coaching.● I created and managed an instructor led online training registration system and I was also a Staff Trainer for various programs including: CPR, Sexuality & Relationships, HIV & AIDS.● My team and I managed YAI’s Online Resource Center, a repository to share resources with other agencies. We created this on our company’s website and sold annual subscriptions for external access to the material.
