Developed and implemented system control documentation and processes using JIRA and Confluence

Development of next generation control system, specifically Injection Control strategy for High Pressure Common Rail Systems (HPCRS) for heavy duty diesel engines. Adaptation of autocoding process to streamline development process. The development of injection control strategy involves high levels of data analysis and development of system knowledge. In development of calibration processes experience of Puma test bed facilities was gained, along with Cameo including response controller toolbox.

Representing the Electronics team in senior management meetings with Nissan Diesel. My role was to support and work with their Electronics team to develop and deliver production software for new products. I provided technical leadership through all stages of the software design cycle from conception to delivery. I collated timescales and delivered resource requirements to the project manager.

Support commissioning of new products both in the UK and abroad. This involved on-site technical support in many international locations, providing immediate solutions under pressure and at all times maintaining excellent relations with the customer.Communication with customers in Japan, the USA, Europe and China. Continuous department process development and improvement. Participation in meetings with the management team to identify issues and provide input into plans to overcome them.

I completed a 9 month work placement at Boston Scientific as a manufacturing engineer. Responsibilities of the position included process improvement on a manufacturing line for neurocatheters, reduction of defects, design of operator aids, and implementation of lean manufacturing processes.
