As an entrepreneurial instructional design professional, I view myself as a thread that connects multiple departments within an organization. The focus of my career is to create and deliver learning experiences that both support employee development and align with strategic goals. With my unique combination of skills and experiences and my innate intellectual curiosity, I am poised to lead the way by designing curricula, coaching peers, and piloting new educational technologies to drive business outcomes. I presently serve in a specialist capacity with lululemon. In my current role, I have worked with the corporate delivery and design team to implement learning theory, design models, and technology tools to optimize learning and performance. I also created objectives that align with the company’s mission and values and identify KPIs to quantify performance. Previously, I served as Head of Faculty with the Emirati Ministry of Education at a public school in Abu Dhabi. I was instrumental in scaling the school’s ranking from a C- to A+ and developing a special needs program to serve students with learning differences. In addition, I partnered with the school’s administrators to create and deliver leadership training and community-building initiatives. I am excited about what comes next in my career.
