As a Business Analyst within Group Finance, I am primarily responsible for regular reporting to key stakeholders and providing business insights to both the Selfridges Group owners and the 5 banners (Selfridges & Co, Holt Renfrew, De Bijenkorf, Brown Thomas and Arnotts). Key responsibilities:- Informing key stakeholders through weekly, monthly and quarterly board-style reports.- Identify opportunities through benchmarking and business insights. - Share knowledge across the 5 global retail businesses owned by Selfridges Group, including brand insights, divisional performance, the impact of external factors and competitor analysis. - Use of internal system Oracle OBIEE to generate data requests.

Completed an extensive research project focussing on how MHUSA can become the leading e-commerce player among the premium wine and spirits brands. The research encompassed the rise of e-commerce, changing consumer preferences and the ongoing debate around disruptive technologies.

In the role I provide support to the Head of Consultant Relations and other senior team members. I deal with requests from consultants by phone or email, organise meetings with consultants on a personalised basis, prepare meeting papers for research meetings and attend consultant events and meetings as appropriate.

Main responsibility was managing Aberdeen’s representation at the World Economic Forum from helping with the event management to arranging key client, prospective client and press meetings. This role involved liaising with with our global Business Development Teams to gather relevant information and coordinate client follow-up.
