I was also responsible for liaising and establishing a positive working relationship with CORU as upcoming regulator for the profession.At Drinkaware, I was awarded the Women in Business not-for-profit CEO of the Year 2023 and was shortlisted for the prestigious Good Governance Awards and Market Research Awards. I oversaw significant increase in public awareness and trust in the brand (from 76% to 89%, B&A, 2018 and 2022) and co-authored several published research and reports.In the UK I founded the leading PR agency, Eulogy! which I sold before returning to Ireland.My extensive journalism credits include the radio documentaries "Is Childhood Shrinking?" and "Meet the Grandparents". Due to my public advocacy for digital, media literacy, regulation and accountability I was invited onto the Internet Commission’s Advisory Board and Scrutiny Committee (global), and to create Ireland's first media literacy programme for primary schools MediaWise. My board/committee appointments include the Wheel, AsIAm, Dublin Camogie and Avoca Hockey Club and I have been an assessor for Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Awards, a judge for the Marketing Awards, and a Hacker for the CII Hackathon.
