I have always been passionate for two things: music, and events across countries that has taken away the livelihoods of people around the world. My heart for the latter led me to pursue a career in international politics and development. I received an honours degree for completing an undergraduate thesis studying the importance of the role of religious nonprofits in international development and how governments can assist them to avoid dangers of neocolonialism through foreign aid.I have been learning to serve people well through volunteering in churches and working in other Christian missions, and have grown administratively in my jobs as a finance assistant at Green Bay Bile Camp, and administrative assistant at TWU. My internship , and now full time position, through the Laurentian Leadership Centre, in the office of a Member of Parliament of Canada, is helping me apply my education in International studies and my professional skills in writing, administration, and public relations into n environment where I can learn further the workings of political influence for the betterment of lives of people in Canada and around the world.
