Systems Architect - Power and Performance - Defined Imaging System level Key Power and Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Smartphone and Tablet media Use cases. These KPIs were used as the standard benchmark across all divisions for the defined system workloads. Established Power and Performance (PnP) test methodologies and best practices for accurate and reliable measurement of the defined KPIs. Characterized, analyzed and optimized PnP KPIs of various use cases for smartphone and tablet platforms running Windows and Android OS. Analyzed and debugged the overall software stack using software profiling tools such as PyTimeChart/Vtune. Designed power and performance models and estimated power and performance targets for various use cases and KPIs. Extrapolated information from competitive benchmark analysis using the same KPIs and worked with the competitive benchmarking team to align all test methodologies. Designed peak and average system bandwidth models that helped estimate and track current generation platform bandwidth expectations and results as well as extrapolate and generate system bandwidth requirements for next generation of mobile platforms.Tracked the projected system level KPIs with the software and hardware execution teams to ensure targets were met. Worked with thermal power analysis teams to ensure thermal constraints were maintained for the various KPIs.Image quality evaluation, Competitive benchmark analysis - Completed measurements for competitive as well as in-house devices to create Key Quality Indicators (KQIs) that were used as standard benchmarks across software validation teams. Benchmarked the KQI metrics for competitive devices that informed architecture recommendations for next generation mobile platforms. Software technology development - Implemented software for the Smartphone segment suited for the mobile market on accelerator hardware and Matlab.

Assisted in Biometrics research for the CMU Biometrics Lab in projects that involved Face recognition and Iris Recognition algorithms.
