Gina Robison (Billups) currently serves as the Apprentice Program Supervisor for the Idaho Department of Labor. She her team are working diligently to support Idaho employers in developing apprenticeship programs and building a pipeline for career seekers to pursue postsecondary credentials and skills. -------In the last 14 years, I have turned around a struggling state program, won the largest apprenticeship grant in Idaho state history, and launched and led two nonprofits that have attained national prominence and reached millions of people. Here’s what I do in a nutshell:I see a need. Then I conceptualize and develop programs that address the needs to make our communities better. I develop products and programs, win consensus from key stakeholders, bridge across community groups, and build the systems that allow us to measure organizational outcomes.Experiences that reflect my capabilities:• Strategically transformed a previously struggling Idaho Dept. of Labor program into a successful brand that is meeting or exceeding grant deliverables by an average of 110%. Won largest apprenticeship grant in Idaho state history.• I launched a nonprofit to disseminate my innovative financial education system. In 5 years, Women’s Money has produced 100+ workshops, classes, and conferences and served 10K participants. • After acquiring the National Women’s Money Week social media campaign, I led a transformation of the struggling initiative. In one year, we expanded 15-fold to reach 15M impressions, 3M engagement and 24,000 participants.• In 2011, I was selected as one of only a handful of nonprofit leaders to sit on the National Women’s Business Council (NWBC), a nonpartisan federal advisory board providing key counsel to the President, Congress, and the U.S. Small Business Administration.• I began the National Association for Moms in Business as a local group with 80 participating women entrepreneurs. I led our organization to become a nationwide organization advocating for 15M entrepreneurial and executive moms with 10K engaged members and relationships with over 50 legislators.Marketing | Budget Management | Program Development | Social Media Marketing | Community Relations | Fundraising | Event Planning | Change Management | Performance Management | Board Development | Public Speaking | Government Relations
