I love to build stuff! It could be a bicycle or broken home appliances. I just love to build things and bring them back to life. Likewise, my main interest falls onto building software. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a code I develop work without popping an error! It is satisfying to see the work you do actually solves real world problems.And a bit about myself, I consider myself as a tech enthusiast. I always follow the latest trends in tech. I am a critical and technical thinker and also an effective problem solver.Others say that I am a calm and quiet person, a quick learner and also a good listener.My biggest achievement was, managing to quickly learn two new technologies (at the time, AngularJS and Golang) and building a product from the ground up, building a SaaS out of it within a short period of time. Later we managed to grow the team and get a Merit award at NBQSA 2016 (National Best Quality ICT Awards, Sri Lanka) in the research and development category.That said, I am capable of adapting to the changes and technologies really quickly and I could do either a one-man show or else work together with teams of engineers while managing and leading them.With the last 9 years of experience in building software, I have gained extensive domain knowledge of healthcare / wellness, home-care management, workflow automation, inventory management, subscriber management solutions covering the areas of Serverless technologies, Agile methodologies, building CICD pipelines, test driven development, working with SQL and NOSQL databases and Using WebRTC technologies.My specialities include Node.js, Golang, Angular, Typescript, AWS, Azure. So far I have AppEngine (GCP), Azure functions, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB, Git, SignalR, Socket.io, EventHub, Azure Blob Storage, Active Directory, AWS Lambda Functions, DynamoDB, AWS Cognito, Amplify, AWS Codebuild, Codedeploy, Codepipeline, AWS S3 under my belt to name a few. I have started learning about Data Analytics as a career improvement, hoping to see the world differently with Data.Of course in my free time you might find me hiking, exploring new places, cooking or tasting new foods, playing guitar, playing basketball or replacing car parts :)
