• Acting as a key internal and external ambassador for patient engagement and involvement, building relationships with teams across CRUK to increase the opportunities for people affected by cancer to get involved with our work.• Project managing a series of events which bring together people effected by cancer with staff and/or researchers.• Developing relationships with patient organisations and other external stakeholders to ensure outreach to a diverse range of people affected by cancer.• Facilitating the effective consultation of people affected by cancer in the detail of the patient engagement strategy.• Ensuring that people affected by cancer who engage with CRUK have a consistently positive and inspiring experience.• Collaborating with staff from across CRUK to form a detailed plan to increase awareness and motivation of staff for patient engagement.• Acting as an advisor to teams and individual staff to develop meaningful involvement activities, and support them in implementing these plans.

• Working with a range of cancer charity partners and other key stakeholders to set up a pan-London working group and to implement a range of activities across London to support early diagnosis messages. • To identify, recruit and monitor up to 1,000 Cancer Activists across London with varied levels of responsibility. Cancer Activists to support early diagnosis by taking messages into their communities.• Keeping abreast of partnership opportunities across the former LHIB (now NHS England) work streams, recommending new partnerships and areas for growth in existing partnerships.• Coordinating a calendar of activities and communication updates to pan- London working group.• Chairing and arranging bi- monthly charity partner meetings.• Working with charity partners and other recruitment channels to recruit volunteers.• Coordinating recruitment process, inductions and tailoring roles for individual volunteer needs.• Providing on-going support for volunteers.• Supporting the production of a new web platform for recruitment of new/ existing volunteers.• Coordinate the production and distribution of a bi- monthly newsletter to all stakeholders.• Support social media activities for the campaign. • Presenting to key stakeholders and community based organisations across London.

• Coordinating a pilot bowel screening programme across Newham, Tower Hamlets and Hackney as interim cover for six weeks.• Delivering workshops and presentations to target groups in order to promote cancer awareness.• Researching, identifying and liaising with organisations of potential outreach points.• Undertaking further training in order to develop knowledge relating to various cancers.• Assisting on various NHS projects and campaigns relating to public health.

• Supporting pupils' with behavioral and learning difficulties under the supervision of an SEN teacher.• Motivating pupils and helping to increase their confidence, self-esteem and independence.• Observing lessons in order to develop knowledge and understanding of teaching SEN pupils.

• Representing the university on open days for prospective students.• Assisting with duties relating to the preparation of open day workshops.• Leading and guiding groups in order to assist prospective students complete open day initiatives. • Delivering formal presentations to students, relaying personal experiences as well as responding to queries.

• Mentoring young people to encourage progression in to higher education, overcome current barriers of learning by devising revision plans, techniques and encouraging self discipline in education.• Supervising young people within the workshops.• Assisting young people with research via the internet to identify and explore further education possibilities.• Devising initiatives to engage young people, this included setting them the task of developing their own university course.• Providing feedback evaluations.

• Acting as product manager when required, delegating roles and responsibilities to staff.• Providing customer service and dealing with customer queries.• Identifying and undertaking stock replenishment.• Working in accordance to visual merchandising plans.
