Financial & Management Accounting▪Manage day-to-day control of the Accounts Dept. & ensure compliance with strict accounting deadlines▪Conduct quarterly analysis of Balance Sheet / Profit & Loss A/c and ensure the correct monthly recording of data appearing in the Financial Statements▪Design & implement measures of internal control to avoid revenue leakage & enhance cost effectiveness▪Coordinate with Logistics Department to control inventories within prescribed limits, availability of critical items & timely clearance of import / export consignments▪Verify that fixed assets are properly recorded in the books & handle the acquisition & disposal of fixed assets by calling for quotations & adjusting the profit / loss appropriately▪Ensure that the entries of provisions in the books are proper & handle Payroll Accounting ▪Devise & implement MIS to provide timely & accurate information on expense details of branches, branch performance, target achievement, budgetary variance, receivables etcTrade Finance▪Liaise with bankers for L/C & other limits, establish & receive L/Cs based on import / export order terms & conditions▪Supervise the correct documentation for import clearances and export shipments, ensure the proper and timely negotiation of documents and manage direct remittances including telegraphic transfers & Trust receipts Receivables Accounting▪Prepare sales budgets, allocate salesman wise targets and analyse negative variances if any▪Verify book and physical receivables figures and follow up with the sales team for receipt on due dates▪Conduct credit control analysis, formulate policies & take remedial measures to forestall bad debts and delayed paymentsGeneral Accounting▪Preparation of Trial Balance, P&L / Balance Sheet, Sales / Purchase Invoices▪Journal Vouchers, Bank / Cash Payments Vouchers▪Bank Reconciliation Statement
